Weight- 22 lbs.
Went to the doctor earlier this week and the nurse that showed me the growth chart pointed at the dot where Ephraim's weight landed.  It was above the top line in a blank space and she said, "Well, he's above percentile, so I guess he's getting enough to eat!"

Can

Crawl, army style.  Really likes the hardwood floor but I don't allow him to be on it very long because he is prone to rolling at any given moment.  He gets stuck in the corner of the couches and keeps trying to move forward but can't.  

Sit up, but isn't quite at the point where he is stable.

Roll around everywhere.

Eat baby food well now.  He finally opens his mouth wide enough to stuff the spoon in.

Babble.  Says bababa, dadadada, muhmuhmuh, and when he's tired-hmmmmmmmmm.

Likes

Eating food out of his mesh holder feeder thing.  He gets mad when he sucks all the banana or avocado out of it.  He screams.  Loud.

Looking around when he should be focusing on nursing.  He is easily distracted by any tiny little sound or movement.  He'll whip his head around to the noise and practically throws himself out of my arms.

Crawling to any object that isn't a toy to put in his mouth.  He would choose a boring black tv remote over a cute, colorful stuffed dog.  

Chewing on stuff.  I think his teeth might be erupting soon.  

Grabbing stuff within his reach, which you have to be careful because he will lunge out of your arms for something.

Splashing in the pool and bath tub.  Really likes it when Kainoa pops up out of the water in front if him.  He laughs until he gets the hiccups.

Go for walks in the stroller.

Standing.

Bouncing in his Johnny Jumper.  Or bouncing up and down while you hold under his arms.

Dislikes

Being alone. 

Being fed slowly with the spoon.

Wearing a bib.  He cries when I put it on him and he pulls it off while he's eating.  He even gets the one off his neck that is like a shirt. Maybe he can be the next Houdini.

Still doesn't like children holding him much, except he's getting used to Kainoa and Elle holding him.

Strangers...some of them.  His bottom lip curls down and he starts to shriek.

Sleeping through the night.  He likes his midnight snack.  And 4:00 am snack.

Sleeping on his stomach.  Hence the snacking, I think.
